Need Help With the Future of this Group

Hello Physics Readers;

I know that many of you are disappointed that we have not had any meetings in a very long time. I apologize for that. I've gotten rather busy and have been unable to focus the necessary attention on this meetup in order to keep it vital.

However, I've really enjoyed our past meetings, and would hate to have it pass away.

So - this is a call for assistance:

I'd like to grow the group a bit more, and have regular meetings at least once per month, maybe on a wider range of Science topics than just physics.

But I need some assistant organizers to get this done. I'm thinking 3 or 4 members who can help coordinate things, find locations to meet, keep an eye out for science related local events to attend, and generally inject some extra variety and life into the group.

We had a decent couple of years with just me, and the group is pretty big now for a science reading club - I think it could become something really special if we can get more organizational participation.

I'd like to have an informal meeting of organizer volunteers within the next week or so, to see what we can plan.

If you are interested in being an assistant organizer for the group - please reply to this email and let me know how I can contact you.

Once again I apologize for the long stall in our schedule, and I really appreciate your continued interest.

Thanks!

Nope. It lives. New scheduled meetup is now on the calendar.
