I've never been a member of a book club before, but I had a lot of friends who were members of groups that survived for years, and for which you had to get on a waiting list to join. Bookclub - I agree although I wouldn't be too hard on the organizer. I think it costs orgainizers something like $20 a month in fees to meetup.com to run a club. Maybe the turnout wasn't good in the past. Seems to be Sean Flynn Jan 28, 2008 7:57 PM
